Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team, responsible for purchasing goods and services that meet our cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and timeliness requirements.

Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is SGD 80,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Developing and executing sourcing strategies to ensure optimal procurement outcomes.
  • Analyzing market trends and supplier landscapes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth.
  • Uncovering business-building ideas and cost-saving opportunities through strategic procurement practices.
  • Designing sourcing strategies that improve value, availability, and technology.
  • Striking deals through negotiation or leading competitive bidding processes.
  • Building effective working relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Participating as a critical member of a cross-functional team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:
  • A minimum bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and procurement.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor packaging technology.
  • Good understanding of strategic sourcing, tendering process, contract management, contract negotiation, and contract governance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective influencing skills, and skilled in contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resourceful, driven, and able to drive innovation, champion change, and work collaboratively to achieve results.
  • Experience with procurement software/platforms preferred (e.g., SAP).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in procurement for a semiconductor company will be an added advantage. Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process for technical procurement is also desirable.
