ENGRO CORPORATION LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Audit Professional to join our team as a Compliance and Risk Specialist. This role will be based in [Location], China, with potential for occasional travel (40% - 50%) within the region.

The ideal candidate will possess a good Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance, preferably with professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA. A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal, external audit, and/or business process reviews is required.

Job Description

As a Compliance and Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing risk-based financial, operational, and compliance audits, including developing internal audit scope, planning, and performing procedures;
  • Identifying and communicating business inefficiencies, internal control weaknesses, or operational issues to stakeholders, recommending solutions;
  • Preparing internal audit reports highlighting control gaps and non-compliance with Group policies and procedures, conducting exit meetings with management;
  • Assisting in developing annual risk-based audit plans and periodic reporting to the Audit Committee;
  • Performing audits of designated entities as a lead auditor, compiling results, and preparing relevant documentation;
  • Supervising audit teams, monitoring staff performance, providing feedback, and identifying training opportunities;
  • Conducting follow-up reviews on previous internal audit issues to ensure actions are taken to address identified issues;
  • Supporting management with ad-hoc projects, including field work and data analysis when necessary, without compromising independence;

You will also manage the whistle-blowing process as the Whistle-blower Investigation Officer, overseeing investigations and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) essential;
  • Independent, resourceful, with excellent interpersonal skills and a team player mentality;
  • Proficient in oral and written English and Chinese, with ability to liaise with Group entities in China and other countries;
  • A strong background in auditing, risk management, and compliance;
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and problem-solving;
