Senior Rail Mobility Specialist

Innovative Transportation Solutions: We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to lead various aspects of rail mobility projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, combined with strong project management skills.

About the Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will oversee rail mobility projects within our Platform Screen Door Division (PSD). Your expertise will enable you to develop and deliver high-quality engineering solutions tailored to meet client needs while upholding safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning and execution activities, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budgets are adhered to with precision.
  • Conduct comprehensive engineering and system analyses, preparing project documentation such as specifications, reports, and technical presentations that facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project outcomes that align with stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to project tender submissions, meticulously verifying compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders, providing consistent updates on project status and addressing any concerns or challenges in a timely manner.
  • Participate in risk management processes, identifying potential issues and implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project integrity.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure project execution aligns with engineering plans, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency in every aspect of project management, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field, alongside relevant experience in project management within the rail or transportation sector.
  • A robust understanding of engineering principles and best practices, particularly with respect to rail mobility systems.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for project analysis, modelling, and simulation, ensuring accuracy and reliability in outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an aptitude for presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, employing a meticulous and analytical approach to overcoming engineering challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proven capacity to work effectively within team environments as well as independently, demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
