Swim Coach and Operations Planner

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Swim Coach and Operations Planning Specialist. As a swim coach, you will be responsible for conducting engaging and structured swim classes for babies, toddlers, and young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach water safety, confidence, and lifelong joy through swimming lessons.
  • Apply proven teaching methods that build progressive skills in students.
  • Mentor junior coaches where needed and provide assessments and progress feedback to parents.
Operations and Planning:
  • Oversee class scheduling, student placements, and pool usage planning to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage centre operations, coordinating between classes, staff, and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student registrations, certifications, and other relevant information.
Safety and Facility Oversight:
  • Ensure all classes adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the pool and surrounding areas.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in swim coaching, preferably with babies, toddlers, or young children.
  • Recognised swim teaching qualification (STA or SwimSafer) and additional child development or sports-related certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong organisational ability, capable of managing class schedules, planning resources, and handling parent communications.
