Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to promote and sell our products and services to businesses and distributors in the APAC region. As a Biotechnology Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing excellent customer support.

Responsibilities:**

  • Cultivate new and expanded sales prospects and customer opportunities to achieve sales growth.
  • Routinely travel to visit new and existing customers and attend relevant trade shows.
  • Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
  • Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs/requirements and generate additional sales.
  • Conduct market research and identify target individuals and organizations.
  • Provide technical support to clients, emphasizing long-term relationships.
  • Promote and position key strategic product and service offerings.
  • Ensure the Sales Forecasting Tool is current and updated with accurate customer and sales information.
  • Routinely pull and reference system reports to identify additional sales opportunities and enhance the pipeline.
  • Develop sales activity plans to optimize sales activities and achieve target sales performance.
  • Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports, and assigned projects.
  • Remain up-to-date on new product development, technology, and service offerings.
  • Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity.

Requirements:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology/Biochemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful technical sales experience.
  • Self-starter; motivated, and must be able to work independently and be team-focused and results-driven.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially with customers and senior management.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Access and internal sales tools.
  • Strong technical skills; able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands-on techniques using our products.
