Senior System Installation and Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled System Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining various security-related systems, including CCTV, cabling, and access control systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and configuring CCTV systems, cameras, and other security-related devices;
- Performing basic network troubleshooting and resolving technical issues;
- Providing support to users and customers on technical matters;
- Configuring and testing CCTV, Security Alarm, and Door Access Control Systems;
- Developing websites, custom functions/plugins for Moodle or other CMS like WordPress;
- Developing and maintaining Moodle LMS solutions for client requirements;
- Designing UI templates based on internal designs;
- Developing and maintaining PHP or related sites;
- Performing any other duties as directed by the IT Manager and Senior Management;
- Assisting in online platform sales;
- General administrative work as instructed.
Requirements:
- Good programming knowledge in PHP, .NET, etc.;
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Application Design, AJAX, jQuery, Programming, Structured Query Language (SQL), and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS);
- Prior knowledge/experience with Moodle and WordPress would be an advantage;
- Detailed and responsible individual who can work independently and in teams;
- Able to conform to deadlines given for development;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new technologies.
