M&E Drafter Position

The role of M&E Drafter is crucial in the preparation and development of 2D and 3D drawings including layout plans, elevations, and cross-sections.

  • Drawings Preparation: The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and developing 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Technical Drawings Drafting: The drafter will draft technical drawings for road works, drainage, underground services, and related civil structures.
  • Assistance with Building Plans: Assistance in preparing building plans, single-line diagrams, temporary structures, and pipeline schematics will be required.
  • Development of M&E Working Drawings: Development of M&E working drawings when required.
  • Documentation: Production of full drawing documentation from construction, shop, to as-built drawings.
  • Compliance: Ensuring drawings comply with project specifications, LTA/authority requirements, and safety standards.
  • Collaboration: Collaboration closely with project engineers and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely updates.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant drafting experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of BIM/Revit is a plus.
  • Advantageous Experience: Experience in road works or underground pipeline projects will be an advantage.
  • Work Style: Able to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
