BeathChapman (PTE. LTD.) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Legal to lead our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing legal risks, generating and reviewing in-house legal documents, and providing legal support for new projects and financial products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Generate and review in-house legal documents, including capital markets licenses, contracts, and marketing materials
  • Provide legal support for new projects and financial products
  • Negotiate terms with clients and third-party intermediaries
  • Develop and implement compliance programs
Requirements:
  • LLB (Hons), admitted to the Singapore Bar or Commonwealth Jurisdictions
  • At least 10 years PQE or relevant experience in prime brokerage, capital markets, securities, and/or derivatives
  • ECM investment banking experience and strong knowledge of the Securities Futures Act and the Financial Advisers Act
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proactive team player attitude, capable of working independently and quickly understanding various businesses
