Water Treatment Operator

Our team is looking for a skilled Water Treatment Operator to join our water treatment plant. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our water treatment processes meet the required quality standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in operating and maintaining water treatment plants, with a strong understanding of process control systems and chemical dosing. You will work closely with our engineering and maintenance teams to ensure that the plant operates safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain water treatment plant equipment and process control systems
  • Monitor and control water quality parameters
  • Conduct routine checks on plant equipment and report any issues or faults
  • Work with the engineering and maintenance teams to plan and implement maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A diploma or degree in a relevant field such as water treatment or chemistry
  • Experience in operating and maintaining water treatment plant equipment and process control systems
  • Strong knowledge of process control systems and chemical dosing
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
