Part Time Coffee Barista

Our coffee house is seeking a part time barista to join our team. We offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in specialty coffee.

  • No experience is required for this role.
  • A valid food hygiene certificate is preferred but not necessary.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, hospitable and great at creating memorable guest experiences. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, making and serving a variety of delicious beverages and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by being friendly and welcoming to all guests.
  • Make and serve a selection of specialty coffees using different brewing and preparation methods.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our current beverage offerings and preparation techniques through ongoing training and development.
  • Maintain proper health and safety standards according to food safety guidelines.

You will also be responsible for supporting the team by taking joy in tasks that keep the cafe running smoothly and effectively. These tasks include cleaning, clearing, washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, mopping and taking out the trash.

  • Be proactive and enthusiastic with an avid interest in learning and making coffee.
  • Have an outgoing personality to interact with customers.
  • Be passionate about specialty coffee and creating inclusive hospitality experiences.
  • Be excited about taking on challenges and possessing a positive attitude.
