Product Lifecycle Engineer

Key responsibilities of this role include acting as the Design Authority for released products, ensuring that products continue to meet design envelopes and specifications. PLE engineers are responsible for verifying and validating material or part changes at a hardware level, while also maintaining and improving existing products through design improvements, specification updates, and continued performance.
PLE engineers work closely with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams to translate customer needs into actionable design updates and product outcomes. This includes performing routine part assessments, updating specifications, participating in project reviews, and seeking innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
This is an entry-level position requiring a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent disciplines, along with practical knowledge of 3D CAD and 2D drawings, including GD&T and tolerance stack. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a passion for engineering are essential qualities for success in this role.
