Job Purpose


• To enhance and support the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of SAP modules, particularly in FICO and ABAP application areas, while ensuring seamless integration with non-SAP systems.

• To offer expert guidance and solutions to facilitate functional and technical design changes by preparing detailed functional specifications, design documents, and change request documentation for necessary approvals.

• To deliver solutions that meet business unit requirements, including effort estimation (configuration, workflow, interface, report, data mapping), change impact analysis, and ensuring the technical integrity of the solutions provided.

• To engage in system development and programming tasks.

Responsibilities


• Analyze user requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and propose effective solutions. Create functional specifications (business blueprints) and/or program specifications, and perform system development work based on these specifications. Conduct quality checks, ABAP code reviews, and quality testing to ensure compliance with specifications before initiating user acceptance testing. Prepare Functional Specifications, UAT test cases, and manage cutover activities.

• Adhere to timelines established by the team leader to ensure timely completion of assignments.

• Troubleshoot system issues within SAP FI and its integration with other SAP modules or non-SAP systems, providing user operations support to meet user requirements.

• Participate in project implementations, following the SDLC documentation policy, and take responsibility for all types of system documentation.

• Collaborate with vendors or project managers on new integrations with SAP FI.

• Provide technical application support during month-end and year-end closing cycles, as well as during internal and external audits.

• Work closely with vendors and team members to resolve complex interface issues and document solutions.

• Manage system incident tickets and service requests to ensure compliance with service level agreements and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Conduct root-cause analysis, contribute to the knowledge base, and recommend continuous improvements to workflows, processes, and technologies.

• Ensure comprehensive solution documentation is maintained.

• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications & Work Experience


• Ideally, an experienced SAP Business Analyst with a solid understanding of SAP FICO and REFX modules.

• Proven track record of delivering projects in the SAP FICO and REFX domains while managing business technical requirements from an IT perspective.

• Strong understanding of SAP Support Operations.

• Experience collaborating with senior functional and business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC HANA on Cloud environments.

• Excellent logical and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.

• Experience in preparing Functional Specifications, UAT test cases, and managing cutover activities related to FICO.

• Experience in implementing and supporting interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Desirable experience in BAPI, RFC, Idoc, SAP script, Smart-forms, User Exits, BADI, ALV reports, BDC, LSMW, API calls, and Dialog programming.

• We seek individuals with initiative, a positive work attitude, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and effective escalation management while adhering to company policies.

Skills


• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI modules (AP, AR, FA, GL, Cost Center Accounting), with familiarity in the REFX module being advantageous.

• Understanding of interfaces through PI from third-party systems such as Maximo, Anaplan, Treasury, and Tenant Management (POS) Systems.

• Experience in preparing UNIT Testing documents, Integration Testing documents, and End User Manuals.

• Ability to prepare Knowledge Transfer documents.

• Competence in creating Functional Specifications for custom solutions and working on interfaces.

• A responsive attitude and timely reporting of status updates.

• Desirable skillset in ABAP, SAP script, Smart-forms, User Exits, BADI, ALV reports, BDC, Dialog programming, and Web Services.

• Knowledge of OOO, Webdynpro, ABAP Forms, and Workflow processes.
