Job Title: Technical Design Specialist

Job Description

The role of a Technical Design Specialist involves the performance and quality of technical project deliverables, including drawings, documentation, and HMI design for OT systems. This position requires facilitating technical solutions in close cooperation with the project team.

Key responsibilities include providing advice on design changes and assessing potential cost impacts, proactively managing project costs while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, participating in internal project status updates and milestone reviews, engaging actively in system design and project meetings, and ensuring adherence to required quality and security procedures.

This role also involves supporting team members as needed and promptly resolving quality and design issues, maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with Naval contract requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering from a reputable polytechnic institute, with a focus on electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering is essential. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English are also required.

Experience with design and documentation tools such as EPLAN, SolidWorks, and preferably AutoCAD is necessary. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organisational skills are also highly valued.

Candidates should be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment and willing and able to travel internationally.
