Palm Oil Trader Role

Objective:

We are seeking a seasoned Palm Oil Trading Professional to spearhead our trading efforts in the palm oil midstream sector, focusing on developing and expanding opportunities.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Trade Development: Create and expand trading opportunities in Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and key derivatives targeting markets in India, Pakistan, and the Middle East.
  • Negotiation and Execution: Manage negotiations with buyers and sellers, overseeing the import & export process to ensure seamless trade execution.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, analyze data to inform trading decisions, and identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of trades, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports of trading activities, providing valuable insights for future decision-making.

Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in Palm Oil import & export in India, Pakistan, or the Middle East, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong customer management and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Ability to handle urgent problem-solving situations, remaining calm under pressure and making sound decisions.
  • Understanding of international trade regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
  • A proactive and confident personality, with the ability to meet high ethical standards and contribute to a positive work environment.
