This catering role is responsible for supervising kitchen operations, preparing and serving food items as directed. You will work with the junior members of the Kitchen Brigade to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

About this role:

  1. Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  2. Prepare all food items as per instructions, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  3. Maintain stock levels, restocking ingredients and equipment as necessary.
  4. Clean and maintain station areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  5. Participate in training sessions and attend briefings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a restaurant or cafe environment.
  • The ability to learn and adapt to various line positions.
  • Familiarity with HACCP requirements and Health and Safety rules.
