Design Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct design and development work according to customer and internal specifications.
  • Act as project lead to plan, organize and coordinate project meetings to review designs and ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Maintain and control relevant documents related to R & D activities.
  • Generate detailed 2D/3D drawings.
  • Raise ECNs for updates to designs and drawings and follow up on approval and ECN flow.
  • Provide technical support to process and production, supply chain and QA for review and troubleshooting of designs and drawings.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant discipline.
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design.
  • Plentiful experience of mechanical designs using SolidWorks is preferred.
  • Candidate with Autodesk/Auto CAD Software will be an advantage.
  • Willing to travel for overseas projects if required.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients who converse in Mandarin only.
