Job Title: Senior Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Technology Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in IT systems delivery projects and possess excellent technical expertise.

About the Role

This position involves working on enterprise-level projects with complex business processes and integrated systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of conducting technical assessments, analyzing system architectures, and translating business needs into technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop IT solutions using J2EE-based technology stacks, including WebSphere and Weblogic Application Servers, and Oracle and MSSQL Database Servers.
  • Develop .NET-based applications, including thick client C# application development.
  • Analyze and optimize system architectures to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Implement CI/CD practices and tools to enhance software development and deployment.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Systems Analyst in IT systems delivery projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in J2EE-based solution & development for WebSphere/Weblogic Application Servers and Oracle/MSSQL Database Servers.
  • .NET based application development, including thick client C# application development.
  • Understanding of event-based architecture and microservices.
  • CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Domain Knowledge in National ID Cards, E-Passports, Biometrics, Smart Cards, Immigration Clearance Gates.
  • Proven experience working on enterprise-level projects with complex business processes and integrated systems.
Desirable Skills
  • Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Certifications such as Agile SCRUM Master/Product Owner.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry-specific technologies.
