Content Development Specialist

The role of Content Development Specialist involves creating and executing imaginative concepts, producing multimedia content, managing social media presence, and maintaining website material. This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment with the company's branding and enhance both internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Development: Collaborate with marketing, sales, HR, and other departments to understand project requirements. Develop creative concepts for campaigns, internal communications, and other marketing materials in alignment with the company's branding.
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing designs for both print and digital media, including brochures, social media graphics, email templates, and presentations.
  • Multimedia Content Creation: Produce engaging multimedia content (e.g., animations, interactive elements) for social media and the website.
  • Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely production and distribution of content across all platforms.
  • Photography/Videography: Plan and execute photography and videography sessions for group events, product showcases, and employee profiles. Capture high-quality photos and videos that effectively communicate the company's message. Edit photos and videos using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro. Organize a digital library for easy access to photos and videos.
  • Social Media Management: Collaborate with various teams to develop creative concepts for campaigns and internal communications. Design engaging multimedia content for social media platforms and the website. Ensure timely production and distribution of content to meet campaign goals.
  • Copywriting: Develop clear and effective creative concepts for internal communications and marketing materials, in collaboration with marketing and HR teams. Write compelling content for brochures, social media posts, email templates, and more.
  • Website Management: Assist in the creation and updating of website content to ensure it is engaging and current. Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and user engagement. Track website performance and user engagement via analytics, optimizing content accordingly.

Requirements:

  • ITE/Diploma in Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or related field.
  • 1 year of experience in content creation or digital media.
  • Experience in photography, videography, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of social media trends, storytelling formats, and digital engagement.
  • Experience or interest in video creation/editing (mobile apps or Adobe suite).
  • Basic knowledge of marketing, e-commerce, or Canva is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and publish short-form content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, etc.).
  • Track and analyze performance of posts and campaigns.
  • Stay updated with current social media trends and apply them creatively.
  • Execute content campaigns, influencer ideas, and seasonal promotions.
  • Assist with basic copywriting (captions, product features, simple ad content).
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure alignment with our brand voice and visuals.
  • Support daily business operations such as retail, taking/packing orders or stock-ins.
