Job Opportunity: Cook - Malay Cuisine
">Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items to deliver high-quality dishes in a timely manner.
- Prepare meals and food items according to established recipes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Store excess food at the correct temperature to prevent spoilage and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed to maintain an efficient inventory management system.
- Ensure that cooking utensils are clean before each use, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Clean and sterilize food preparation areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Assist other cooks to complete food orders efficiently and effectively.
- Resolve problems with customer orders promptly and professionally.
- Comply with all food health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Desirable to hold a ServSafe food handling certification.
- Possess sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques.
- Proven experience working as a Cook is essential.
- Able to follow established recipes and instructions.
- Effective team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
