About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Financial Markets Director to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic leadership and direction in financial markets, including executing trades in Equities, ETFs, and currencies, and overseeing operational duties such as assisting with settlement queries and creation of ad-hoc desk reports.
You will also be responsible for developing communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others, as well as assessing risk when business decisions are made. This is a key role that requires strong commercial awareness and technical authority for an area within the business.
To succeed in this role, you will need at least 6-10 years of experience in trading or related activity, with a good understanding of US regulatory framework, particularly in relation to trading activity. You should also have experience managing a team, possess strong PC skills, and be well organized with a service-oriented approach.
