Job Title: Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team at ZHILONG CONSTRUCTION AND ENGINEERING PTE. LTD.

About the Role:

This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership, management, and coordination skills to oversee various construction projects from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including project teams, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and file documents records accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle general call enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain customer relationship during project and Monitor customer satisfaction/dissatisfaction to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Covering of subordinate duties as and when necessary to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and monitor Progress Claims and Subcontractor Payment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare project reports and update project progress regularly to stakeholders.
  • Prepare Risk Assessment, permit to work forms and scheduling for project to ensure safe working conditions and timely completion.
  • Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings to communicate project updates and address any concerns or issues.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings to ensure effective project execution.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings to facilitate clear communication and decision-making.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Determining project changes and communicating them effectively to stakeholders.
  • Providing administrative support as needed to ensure seamless project operations.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required to meet project objectives and deliverables.
  • Prepare any other reports as and when assigned by senior management.
  • Performs purchasing roles when required to source materials and equipment for project.
  • Assist in sourcing of product when required to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Any other ad-hoc administrative works as assigned by the respective head.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

Education:

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.

Skills:

Excellent leadership and management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with construction practices, procedures, and regulations.

Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
