Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for administering occupational therapy services to residents, providing individualized care that meets their unique needs and promotes optimal health and well-being.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify individual needs of residents and develop personalized care plans.
  • Provide resident-centered care, focusing on comfort, health, and overall well-being.
  • Coordinate and ensure appropriate occupational therapy services by supervising, monitoring, and educating therapy and nursing staff.
  • Evaluate and document residents' occupation therapy needs and progress at regular intervals.
  • Refer residents to specialists for consultation and intervention as needed.
  • Train and supervise caregivers and volunteers in maintaining occupational therapy programs.
  • Plan and schedule therapy care staff for relevant training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full registration with the relevant professional association.

Working Hours:
The typical working hours will be from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 45-minute lunch break.
