Job Description:
  • Provide support to our business in various areas, including international trademark filing, trademark portfolio management, copyright maintenance, and IP-related consultancy.
  • Manage international trademark applications, including conducting trademark clearance, communicating regularly with internal clients and overseas developers to provide best practices for trademark filing strategies, and supervising the application, office actions, oppositions on an international basis.
  • Be responsible for international trademark portfolio management, including file management and optimization, supervising trademark monitoring, oppositions and cancellations, and providing services for internal requests for trademark certificates.
  • Manage copyright registration when requested, support business teams' other IP-related legal requests, including font, domain names, etc., and provide opinions to minimize potential IP risks.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on issues related to IP compliance and enforcement support.
  • Provide opinions for license and trademark-related agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized law school with a degree or concentration on intellectual property.
  • Strong background in trademark filing and management, particularly with US trademark management experience.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in the gaming and/or tech industry, preferably a multinational corporation or a law firm with an international practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the English language.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and communicate complex information in an accessible way.
