Are you a skilled software engineer looking to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality code that meets our engineering standards, collaborating with junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the design and development of scalable, available, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant services.
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes based on our needs, rather than jumping straight into standard practices.
  • Deep dive and debug production issues across services and levels of the stack when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams daily, staying in close communication with product managers and team leads to execute feature roadmaps efficiently.

Requirements:
  • A passion for software development.
  • At least 4 years of relevant software development experience with consumer/merchant products.
  • Hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying applications.
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript, with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
  • Understanding of concepts like HTTP, GRPC, idempotency, concurrency, database consistency and transactionality, asynchronous programming, fault tolerance and monitoring, performance, feature flags, and backward compatibility.
  • Knowledge of mobile application interaction with back-end systems and deep understanding of relational databases.
  • Ability to design performant architectures and know how to apply changes without downtime to production systems.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and good understanding of their concepts.
  • Some experience with infrastructure-related tools and concepts such as Kubernetes, Kafka, RDS, AWS, and GCP.
