About the Role
This is a contract position for a Learning Support Assistant to work with our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and conducive learning environment that promotes student learning and development.
You will be responsible for assisting teachers in preparing and producing learning materials, guiding students in carrying out instructions and activities during lessons, and covering classes when teachers are away on leave or course by delivering the lessons planned by the class teacher.
In addition, you will support teachers in determining individualised goals for each student to enhance their development, assist with data collection to understand student profiles and monitor progress, and implement student behavioural plans and support in managing student behaviours under teacher supervision.
You will also have the opportunity to engage in professional development activities to facilitate ongoing knowledge and skills development.
Requirements- Minimum GCE O-Level or WPLN Level 5 for Teacher Aide positions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A heart to serve in the special needs sector.
