M&E Management Professional

This is a key position in our organization responsible for overseeing all Mechanical and Electrical works on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all M&E activities are carried out in compliance with relevant standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely completion of M&E works, adhering to project timelines and quality expectations.
  2. Liaise and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to resolve M&E-related challenges and issues.
  3. Lead and coordinate the site team, comprising M&E engineers, structural engineers, and architectural coordinators, to deliver high-quality performance meeting consultant specifications and client requirements.
  4. Attend project site meetings, address technical issues, and facilitate smooth project execution.
  5. Oversee the submission and approval of M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements, ensuring they align with the M&E master schedule deadline.
  6. Guide and oversee M&E staff, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out according to approved plans, materials, and procedures.
  7. Monitor and report M&E progress or problems to HQ, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruptions.
  8. Participate in site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshoot M&E system technical issues or problems arising at the site.
  9. Analyze consultant technical specifications, drawings, schematics, and design intent to identify and resolve discrepancies related to M&E matters, issuing RFIs as necessary.
  10. Manage M&E monthly meetings, involving, controlling, coordinating, and overseeing M&E matters in their entirety.
  11. Resolve M&E issues during the defect liability period and collaborate with consultants and architects on D&B projects.

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in M&E management, able to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality M&E services. They will be expected to provide leadership and guidance to ensure that all M&E activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
