IT Release Management Job

We are looking for a skilled IT release manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the change and release landscape, ensuring adherence to vital processes, procedures, standards, and policies.

The IT release manager will partner with senior stakeholders to govern the change and release landscape. This includes supporting the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process to ensure compliant change and release management, as well as supporting internal and external audit activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as IT Release Manager and partner with senior stakeholders
  • Govern the change and release landscape, ensuring adherence to vital processes, procedures, standards, and policies
  • Support the Change Advisory Board (CAB) process to ensure compliant change and release management
  • Support essential internal and external audit activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 years of working experience as an IT release manager
  • Familiar with the controls of the software development lifecycle including Risk Management (Fundamentals), ideally Change Management and keen on the Change Governance space
  • General understanding of the different stages of the software development lifecycle such as Planning / Requirements Gathering, (architectural or UI) Design phase, Implementation (coding), Testing, Deployment, Maintenance
  • JIRA experience
  • Effective communication and ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an aptitude for leveraging tools for efficiency
