Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile inventory levels with system balances to ensure accuracy and control.
  • Logistics Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough checks to ensure goods received are in good condition and raise Goods Received Notes (GRNs) accordingly.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and transactions, utilizing reports to project warehouse status.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions or adjust existing procedures to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Space Management: Ensure efficient use of warehouse space, including layout and bin management, to maximize storage capacity.
  • Cycle Counting and Stocktaking: Participate in periodic cycle counts and annual stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • General Tasks: Perform other general or related tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including handling purchase orders and delivering goods to outlets.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on Commitment: Demonstrate a strong commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Proven Operational Skills: Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Supervisory Skills: Possess highly effective supervisory skills and techniques to manage warehouse operations.
  • Education and Certifications: Minimum secondary education, with a Class 4 driving license and good driving record (for driver). Familiarity with major roads in Singapore is an advantage.
  • Physical Demands: Able to perform heavy physical work activities, including lifting and working independently or as part of a team.
