Job Title: Principal Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Research Scientist to join our team at Nanyang Technological University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing research projects, supervising research staff, and collaborating with international partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage research projects, including designing and implementing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research findings.
  • Supervise and mentor research staff, including research fellows, research associates, and assistants.
  • Collaborate with international partners, including researchers and institutions, to advance the field of cognitive neuroscience.
  • Develop and implement research strategies, including identifying research gaps, developing research proposals, and securing funding.
  • Contribute to the development of research policies and procedures, including ensuring compliance with ethics and governance requirements.
  • Communicate research findings to a wide range of stakeholders, including academic and industry partners, policymakers, and the general public.
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field, such as cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or neuroscience.
  • Proven track record of research excellence, including publications in top-tier journals and presentations at international conferences.
  • Experience in leading and managing research projects, including supervising research staff and collaborating with international partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex research findings to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the development of research policies and procedures.
