Patient Involvement and Engagement Research Fellow

We are seeking a Research Fellow to join our team in the Office of Patient Engagement (OPEN). The successful candidate will play a key role in developing patient and public involvement and engagement programmes within the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

About the Role
  • Contribute to the facilitation, design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative studies.
  • Project manage programme of work, ensuring study deliverables, reports, and publications are completed on time.
  • Work effectively with research and education teams to grow patient-public involvement and engagement in the school and other institutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health services research, implementation science, or a related field. They should also possess excellent communication and facilitation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of PPIE events, including the Patient Voices Symposium and OPEN Conversation seminars. You will also be responsible for performing literature searches and scientific writing, as well as assisting with communications and supervising student projects.

Key Requirements
  • PhD or Masters qualification in health services research, implementation science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in health services, implementation research, co-design, or patient-public involvement.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
