Job Title: Senior Protein Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced protein development specialist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development group, you will be responsible for leading the design, construction, and analysis of expression vectors for protein engineering initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing their expertise in molecular biology and protein chemistry to drive innovation and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Protein Design and Construction: Develop and implement efficient methods for expression vector design, ensuring optimal protein expression and purification.
  • Protein Analysis: Conduct column chromatography, SDS-PAGE, and other physicochemical analyses to characterize protein behavior, identify areas for improvement, and optimize expression and purification conditions.
  • Protein Expression and Purification: Oversee the production of high-quality proteins using mammalian cell culture systems, operate purification equipment, and perform Western Blotting assays to ensure purity and consistency.
  • Antibody Generation: Clone B cells and develop antibody libraries to create novel antibodies with specific binding properties.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with laboratory procedures and techniques such as molecular biology and protein chemistry.
  • Proficiency in operating automated liquid handling systems and structural analysis software.
