Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the in-room dining teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Assist the In-Room Dining Manager in overseeing all aspects of in-room dining operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Train and develop in-room dining staff to ensure they adhere to company policies and service standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and general supplies, placing orders as needed.
  • Conduct shift briefings and training sessions to prepare team members for operations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update the in-room dining menu, ensuring it meets guest preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized in-room dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze in-room dining performance metrics, such as guest satisfaction scores and order accuracy, and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an integrated resort, restaurant group, private club, or luxury hotel chain.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering personalized experiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant technology used in in-room dining operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including night shift, and public holidays, as required.
