We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical psychologist to join our team in providing psychological and emotional support to individuals who have experienced trauma.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work with women, children, and families to provide specialized psycho-emotional assessments and interventions in both hospital-based and community settings. This will involve conducting talks and training in the area of child trauma and support, as well as working with the community to increase preparedness to respond to crises and traumas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist psycho-emotional assessments and interventions for women, children, and families with trauma-related concerns
- Conduct talks and training in the area of child trauma and support
- Work with the community to increase preparedness to respond to crises and traumas
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written), possess effective interpersonal skills and good psychological report writing skills
- Possess relevant qualifications to obtain registration as a full member with a recognised professional body
- Relevant clinical and supervision experience
- Past clinical experience in child and/or trauma work is desirable but not a prerequisite
