Environmental Sustainability Project Director

The Energy Research Institute @ NTU is looking for a highly motivated Project Director for Environmental Sustainability to lead the sustainable built environment research programme. This programme aims to integrate engineering, architecture, urban planning, policy, business, and social impact to drive sustainability advancements.

Key Deliverables:
  • Development of research projects that meet national interests and deadlines.
  • Collaboration with industry partners, academics, and government agencies to develop innovative solutions.
  • Organization of workshops to foster innovation and large-scale technology deployment.
Requirements:
  1. Master's/PhD degree in Project Management, Industrial Design, Architecture, Environmental Science or related field with at least 3 years of experience in built environment projects and/or multidisciplinary research.
  2. Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  3. Familiarity with green building standards and strong understanding of environmental policies and market trends.
  4. Experience in technology commercialization, industrial design, or sustainability-driven business models.
  5. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  6. Proficiency in project management and data analytics tools, with proficiency in simulation and/or design software advantageous.
  7. Competence in data visualization, scientific writing, and workshop facilitation.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional domains.
