Process and Controls Analyst - Investment Banking Operations
About the Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Process Improvement: Review document optimize front-to-back securities settlement processes across equities fixed income securities borrowing & lending prime brokerage. Identify control gaps operational risks areas for automation, propose and implement process improvements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across operations technology risk compliance to gather requirements run workshops translate needs into BRDs user stories test cases.
- Leadership and UAT: Lead support user acceptance testing UAT, including development of test plans scripts results validation.
- Transaction Monitoring: Conduct data analysis trace transactions across multiple systems to identify root causes of breaks or inefficiencies.
- Reporting and Presentations: Provide clear documentation reporting presentations to stakeholders highlighting risks metrics recommended solutions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all initiatives meet regulatory requirements internal control standards safeguarding client assets.
- Familiarity with Financial Markets: In-depth knowledge of front-to-back securities settlement processes across equities fixed income securities borrowing & lending prime brokerage.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify control gaps operational risks areas for automation, propose and implement process improvements.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with stakeholders across operations technology risk compliance.
