Senior Thermal and Mechanical Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced thermal and mechanical design leader to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in thermal and mechanical design, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in heat exchangers and pressure vessels. The role involves leading and mentoring a team of engineers, allocating tasks, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with various teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor thermal & mechanical design engineers
- Allocate engineering tasks and monitor project progress
- Coordinate with project, procurement, QA/QC, and fabrication teams
- Review client specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Act as main technical contact during design reviews
- Support proposal and estimation teams with technical inputs
- Drive improvements in design processes and tools
- Track deliverables and report to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in thermal & mechanical design (heat exchangers / pressure vessels)
- At least 2 years in a lead/supervisory role
- Proficient in HTRI, Aspen EDR, PVElite, Autopipe-Vessel
- Strong knowledge of TEMA, ASME VIII, API 660
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
