Role Overview

As part of our esteemed Product Engineering team at SYSTEMS ON SILICON MANUFACTURING COMPANY PTE LTD, you will utilize your profound knowledge in electrical engineering fundamentals, semiconductor device physics, and manufacturing processes to address yield-related issues and improve product reliability.

About You
We seek an individual with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, accompanied by 2 years of relevant experience in product engineering within a front-end wafer fab environment or comprehensive knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, are essential for success in this position.

Your Responsibilities
This role encompasses the following key responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough product yield analysis to identify root causes of wafer sort and final test failures.
  • Collaborate with customers and account managers to maximize die output.
  • Evaluate and establish low-yield criteria and dispositioning methods.
  • Provide expert support to failure analysis and reliability labs to resolve electrical faults and reliability failures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and cost reduction through yield improvement initiatives.
