This is an IT support group seeking a skilled Financial Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial accounting and reconciliations, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the general ledger for accurate financial reporting.
  • Preparing journals and accruals for month-end closing.
  • Providing timely and accurate head office reporting in compliance with Group requirements.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors, and other departments within the entity.
  • Preparation of balance sheet account substantiation and reconciliation.
  • Supporting the provision of audited Financial Statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Conversant with financial accounting and reconciliations.
  • Good team player with ability to demonstrate initiative and work well with minimal supervision and within tight timelines.
  • Strong attention to details and good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Experience Requirements
A minimum of [X] years of experience in financial accounting and reconciliations.

Education Requirements
Degree in Banking or Finance.
