Job Title: Senior Medical Technologist

As a senior medical technologist in paediatrics, you will be responsible for carrying out various cardiac investigations and procedures for children at the Paediatric Cardiac Diagnostic Centre.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing paediatric cardiac echocardiography and fetal echocardiography. You should also be skilled in administering duties such as report typing and maintenance of equipment and patient records.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform paediatric cardiac echocardiography and fetal echocardiography
  • Administer 12 lead ECG, holter and other monitoring modalities
  • Maintain patient records and reports
  • Optimise usage of resources at team level
  • Assist in development and maintenance of learning objectives and teaching methods

Requirements:

  • Degree in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent
  • Sonography/Echocardiography background preferred
  • Able to perform ultrasound and familiar with human anatomy
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on Saturdays
