In-house Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced In-house Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all security and safety activities for the premises including managing vehicular traffic, car park management and CCTV system.
  • Safeguard and protect company properties against destructions, thefts, vandalism and fire.
  • Provide surveillance by patrolling the premises and checking movement of people, goods and fire protection system.
  • Implement security/safety improvements that benefit company properties, visitors, tenants and employees.
  • Attend to security incidents. Assess and identify security risks and determine corrective measures.
  • Proactively identify, prevent and respond to security incidents.
  • Establish corrective and emergency security procedures.
  • Update and keep Standard Operating Procedure and follow established procedures.
  • Assist in fire safety related matters including usage of fire equipment, managing and coordinating the security command centre.
  • Responds appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise (inside and outside of office hours).

Requirements:

  • Valid PLRD SO licence.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience in industrial building environment.
  • Hands-on experience with fire protection system, security control and monitoring system.
  • Good command of English.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, Words.
  • Able to work shift when required.
  • Only Singaporean and PR.
