Transportation Coordinator Job Description

As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods from one location to another. This role requires attention to detail, effective time management, and strong driving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Delivery Documentation: Ensure accurate completion of delivery notes, signed by customers and in compliance with company standards.
  • Cargo Clearance: Submit relevant documentation to customs for endorsements and permit scanning clearances for both inbound and outbound goods if required.
  • Routine Vehicle Checks: Perform daily vehicle pre-checks before first job, ensuring vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load cargo/shipments onto vehicle, scan and send shipments to airport, monitor shipments to airlines if required.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain company vehicles on a weekly basis ensuring they are washed and clean.
