Vice President FX Option Trader

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced FX Option Trader to join our team in a Vice President position. As a key member of our Global FX Options team, you will be responsible for providing liquidity to our global client franchise, managing risk exposures, and developing trading strategies.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful market-making and client engagement. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with trading concepts are essential. In addition, deep knowledge of option theory and practices is required. Excellent communication skills for horizontal and vertical interactions are also necessary.
In this role, you will work closely with sales teams to understand client needs and provide trade ideas and hedging solutions. You will also mentor and develop junior traders through active tutelage and guidance.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of FX options trading experience with an investment bank.
- Proven track record of successful market-making and client engagement.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with trading concepts.
- Deep knowledge of option theory and practices.
- Excellent communication skills for horizontal and vertical interactions.
- Experience trading FX and/or fixed income exotic and hybrid products.
- Proficient knowledge of JPY fixed-income markets.
