Job Title: Life Science Market Data Specialist

Description:

You will be an analytical and business-oriented professional joining our Commercial Data & Analytics team in the Pharma and Life Science industry. Your primary responsibility will be to provide actionable market insights through data analysis and support strategic and operational decision-making at global, regional, or business unit levels.

Your role will involve driving a culture of data-driven decisions by utilizing internal and external data sources effectively. You will conduct thorough market sales data analyses using various data sources such as IQVIA and Nielsen to deliver critical business insights.

You will collaborate with global, regional, and business unit stakeholders to assist in leadership reporting and decision-making processes. It will be essential to interpret large datasets, identify trends, correlations, and insights that are pertinent to business strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting operational analytics, including managing market definitions and integrating POS data. You will design, update, and manage recurring and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to reflect key business metrics. Utilizing tools like Power BI and Snowflake, you will create and maintain visual reports and dashboards.

Your role will also entail coordinating and consolidating data collection from various countries across different portfolios and ensuring timely execution and delivery of data reports from structured databases.

To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Market/Sales Data Specialist, preferably in supporting international pharma companies, is required.

Proficiency in Excel and SQL is essential, along with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and conduct root cause analysis. Strong visual and project management skills are necessary to effectively represent analyses and findings to the business. Good communication skills are also required to present analyses and findings to stakeholders.

The ability to multitask and strong management skills for stakeholder coordination are additional qualities that will contribute to your success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Market/Sales Data Specialist
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL
  • Strong visual and project management skills
  • Good communication skills
