We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our team at Mizuho Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Bank's Compliance Action Program, as well as Head Office requirements and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Program Management: Assist in planning, administering, and executing the Bank's Compliance programs, including trainings and compliance reviews and checks.
- Application Processing: Responsible for processing and reviewing applications made under the Bank's Compliance programs in a timely and effective manner.
- Stakeholder Guidance: Provide general guidance to internal stakeholders on matters and issues relating to the Compliance programs or procedures.
- Control Framework: Co-ordinate and conduct email audits, as well as other controls required under the Information Control framework.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders on compliance matters, including Head Office and Internal Operation Procedures, Head Office Bulletin Board circulars.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Assist in liaising with stakeholders and collating requisite information/data in response to inspection or queries, information requests, questionnaires, surveys, and reporting.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake, participate, and/or collaborate with other stakeholders on ad-hoc compliance-related projects.
- Committee Participation: Be part of Compliance Committee Meetings, Compliance Forum, or any other committees, taskforces, working groups, forums, or dialogue sessions as part of the Bank's overall compliance and monitoring framework.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in related roles.
- Skills: Able to work meticulously and exercise judgment between working independently to meeting tight deadlines, and being a team player when the situation calls upon. Possess effective writing and comprehension skills.
- Candidates: Those without experience but have a strong desire to commence a career in compliance may apply.
