As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, including handling accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting tasks, including handling accounts payable and receivable, to ensure accurate financial statements and inventory data.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, such as ASN FRT and MIS, to ensure compliance with company policies and financial reporting requirements.
  • Perform regular inventory audits to confirm record accuracy and identify discrepancies, and collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory variances and implement corrective measures.
  • Analyze inventory data and trends to offer insights and recommendations for improving inventory management, and develop and maintain documentation and audit trails for all inventory transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding inventory and financial reporting, and prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management, highlighting findings and recommending improvements.
  • Monitor and report on key inventory metrics, including stock levels, turnover rates, and valuation accuracy, and work closely with finance and operations teams to streamline inventory management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy, and participate in the development and implementation of new inventory management systems and tools.
  • Verify inventory records to ensure the accuracy of listed information, and collaborate with accounts and the internal audit manager to prepare required tax and audit reports.
