At NEW CENTURY FOOD HOUSE @151 PTE. LTD., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead our kitchen operations, drive culinary innovation, and ensure seamless delivery of exceptional dining experiences.
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at SGD $80,000 - SGD $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient kitchen systems and processes to enhance productivity and quality
- Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory levels
- Supervise and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure exceptional service standards
- Collaborate with chefs to design and launch new menus, ensuring alignment with brand values and customer preferences
- Conduct regular audits to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
- Manage kitchen budgets and resources effectively to minimize waste and optimize profitability
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel environment
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary certification or degree preferred
