About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Campus Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the development and management of building services for education campuses.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies, budgeting, project programming, design review, and quality assurance for electrical, extra low voltage, security, and vertical transportation systems.
  • Manage the master space plan and space audit to ensure optimal use of campus resources.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, consultants on design specifications, space programme, cost, and work schedule.
  • Develop project briefs/schedules, manage, review, and implement workplace changes, monitor quality, cost, and deadlines.
  • Manage tender calling, evaluation, and award of contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations on all building, fire, safety, and health matters.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of construction works.
  • Carry out regular quality checks on construction works during the construction period and work with internal and external stakeholders on the building defect lists prior to handover of buildings.
  • Manage execution of direct contracts.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on the schedule to move into buildings.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in building project management.
  • Good knowledge of building development, maintenance regulations, laws, and procedures.
  • Strong organisational, administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Technically competent in Microsoft Project and Computer Aided Design software programmes.
