Job Overview

The Delivery Architect role is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the technical architecture for software implementation services bids and projects.

This includes ensuring that the proposed solution meets customer functional and non-functional requirements, project budget, and timescale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead technical teams in the implementation and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
  • Work with Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager) to interact with customers to define, produce and maintain optimal solution design based on scope, customer requirements, and solution capabilities.
  • End-to-End Design Leadership (Pre-sales + Delivery): facilitate requirements, design, and solutions workshops; own design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents); ensure traceability; create and review architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guides; communicate design to customer and stakeholders; manage involvement of SMEs and ensure contributions meet requirements.
Key Skills

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science/Electrical) or similar required. At least 10 years of deep technical design-focused expertise and hands-on experience with development and architecture in Industrial solutions & Electrification Software in Utilities (SCADA, ADMS, EMS, CERMS/DERMS, Grid and Market Management Systems).

Familiarity with design principles, coding, scripting, OS (Linux), version control, virtualization, cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure), microservices. Experience with cloud technologies, containers, Kubernetes; strong cloud architecture understanding.

Strong problem-solving and leadership of large projects; ability to lead technically and architect complex solutions.
