Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Microbiologist to join our team at SETSCO SERVICES PTE LTD. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing on hygiene indicators and foodborne pathogens in food samples using international reference methods and documented test procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing on hygiene indicators and foodborne pathogens in food samples using international reference methods and documented test procedures
• Provide technical training and advice to the team to ensure that scheduled testing and release activities are completed in a timely manner
• Familiar with the laboratory quality system in accordance with SAC-SINGLAS ISO 17025:2017, and perform activities to upkeep the laboratory's quality system
• Eager and keen to contribute to ideas for laboratory test improvement and advancement; opportunities for enhanced and further method development
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including communication with clients in the technical forte
• Meticulous and highly motivated individual

Requirements

• Degree in Microbiology or relevant educational background
• Candidate with prior experience in the same field would be an advantage
