Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Manager to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a key member of our technology delivery team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying end-to-end software solutions in the T&O-MOT-LCS domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, development leads, test engineers, infrastructure engineers, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Requirements Gathering: Participate in the analysis and requirements gathering phase to translate client needs and expectations into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot the application by debugging issues, fixing bugs, identifying bottlenecks, and offering third-level support.
  • Software Development and Deployment: Build, package, and release software artifacts in an automated way to all environments, including production.
  • Application Performance and Security: Be responsible for the performance, stability, reliability, and security of the application.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify efficiency and design improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Technical Expertise: Min 12+ years of technology delivery experience in software development, with hands-on experience in at least one server-side object-oriented programming language.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using source code control systems and branching strategies, including hands-on experience branching, merging, and releasing. Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, architectural styles, and API designs.
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience with JAVA (Spring, Springboot) in a Unix/Linux environment, and experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, NoSQL, MariaDB, or SQL Server.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, and experience working in agile technology teams.
  • Soft Skills: A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a constantly changing environment.

Requirements

  • Min 12+ years of technology delivery experience in software development.
  • Hands-on experience in at least one server-side object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience using source code control systems and branching strategies.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL, NoSQL, MariaDB, or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, architectural styles, and API designs.
  • Hands-on experience with JAVA (Spring, Springboot) in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
